OFSC Georgina Trail, Baldwin Bridge Replacement
As part of Canada's Economic Action Plan, the Federal government granted $96,250 towards the replacement of the Baldwin bridge. In addition, matching project dollars are being provided through infrastructure development programs of the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC). J & M Renovations and workers will create and install a 90' steel bridge to replace the aging Baldwin bridge, an important river crossing for the Georgina trail. Work is expected to commence this fall. Where possible, crews will attempt to reuse or recycle parts of old wooden bridge.
