Celebrity Benefit Hockey Game

The Georgina Professional Firefighters Association hosted a celebrity charity hockey game in support of The Children's Wish Foundation. The Toronto Maples Leaf Alumni stepped up to the challenge and entertained a full house at the Georgina Ice Palace. The game exhibited the talents of Craig Muni, Greg Hotham, Darryl Shannon, Rick Vaive, Bill Derlago, Lou Franceschetti, Wilf Paiement, James Jones, Gary Leeman, Mike Pelyk, Jack Valiquette, Mark LaForest, special guest coach, Price Morris Sr. and of course our very own hardworking team from the Georgina Fire Fighter Association. The game ended in a 18 to 6 win for the Alumni with a post game reception hosted by Boston Pizza. $4000.00 was raised in support of The Children`s Wish Foundation between the two hockey teams and all the fans that supported the game. Way to go!
