Manulife Walk for Memories

The Georgina Ice Palace was host to the 7th annual Manulife Walk for Memories. The walk is to raise awareness and funding support for local critical programs and services for people living with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. 38,000 Ontarians are diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease each year. The turnout and support from Georgina was tremendous. Families and friends rallied together in support of this worthy cause. Elaine, the event coordinator, stated "This is the warmest, close knit community and I love coming here for this event."
