Georgina Arts Centre and Gallery Celebrates
The Georgina Art Centre and Gallery celebrated 10 years of art in the community. Executive director Heather Fullerton spoke of the history and growth of the centre. Board chairman Darren Gingras gave an inspiring speech about their support of creativity and expression of all kinds. An artistic cake by Kiley Mclean was certainly one of the highlights.
The GACG is launching many new programs this year to compliment those existing. A parade camp for 400 kids is one of the upcoming features. Kids will build floats, banners and lots of parade paraphernalia, then end the week with a parade along High Street in Sutton.
