Lakeside PS Boys Night
The grade 6 boys from Lakeside enjoyed a really fun night playing floor hockey in the gym. Students had a chance to savour a tasty spaghetti dinner with a choice of three diiferent sauces made by students at the Lakeside Cafe. Students and guests also had some fun in the libray with a variety of activites like computer games and a hockey trivia contest. A great time was had by all and the evening ended with some prize giveaways. Thanks to the Toronto Marlies Hockey Team for donating some tickets for one of their games and thanks to all the students, family/friends and staff for coming out to help support such a special night for all! It was quite evident whether you are reading the rules to a game, picking up a book to read or to reading the ingredients to a recipe, Literacy is, really everywhere!
